This is just a really simple card, but it uses a stamp set I love - "Greenhouse Garden". This is such a clever set, and so versatile. I'm a big fan of "Two-Step" stamping now, even though I couldn't quite picture how it would work before I tried it. Basically, you use two stamps to create one composite image. The first stamp is used with one colour to create the background of the image - in this case, the pale pink of the flowers - and then the second stamp, positioned with the Stamp-a-ma-jig, adds darker detailing, given a fabulously three-dimensional image.
For this card, I used Pretty In Pink and Rose Red inks, and stamped the image in the foreground first, before masking it off and stamping another flower overlapping the first. This one was also masked off (leaving the first mask in place) and then two more flowers stamped. Once the masks are removed you end up with the later images looking as if they sit behind the earlier ones, so easy but always so effective. A layer of Pretty In Pink cardstock and then a Whisper White "Love Note" for the card base and Bob's your uncle! (Actually, Bob's my brother-in-law, but that's a whole 'nother story!)
Thanks for looking. I hope you like the card.
