Video: The Crafting Tools I Can't Do Without

One of the questions I'm asked a lot is: what are the crafting tools that you use all the time; what couldn't you do without? I've put together this short video that answers just that. It isn't a comprehensive guide to crafting tools, and I don't go into huge detail about how you use each of the things I've included, but these are the things that I would say are my absolute go-to-every-single-time-I-craft pieces of equipment.

I hope you find it useful.

Next week, I'm going to be sharing with you a gorgeous little project using the Envelope Punch board  - and it also includes an appearance by one of my favourite things from the upcoming Spring Summer seasonal catalogue (which goes live tomorrow, yay!!).

Thanks for dropping by, I'll be back again soon.

A Spring Catalogue Sneak Peek

A few days ago, I received a rather wonderful parcel. A lovely friend of mine, and fellow Demonstrator, Nicky, organised a share between a number of us, whereby we each got samples of pretty much everything (except stamp sets) from the upcoming Spring Summer catalogue. It was like Christmas all over again! I've been having a ball playing with all my lovely new goodies...

This card is almost a direct lift from the catalogue itself, made using one of the brilliant new kits that we're offering.

It came together in about five minutes flat - if that! Isn't it sweet?

Here's another one...

And another...

I love them! I hope you do too - there's not long to wait now..... Don't forget, if you'd like me to send you a complimentary copy of the Spring Summer catalogue, all you need to do is drop me a line and I'll pop one in the post to you.

I'm off to have another play - see you soon!

A Sale-A-Bration Sneak Peek Project

I have a sweet little thank you card to share with you today, made using a couple of the lovely items you'll be able to get your hands on free in a few days, when Sale-A-Bration starts.

Don't you just love these little banners? I've tended to shy away from things like this in the past, 'cause I find it a bit of a faff trying to cut them out evenly. Hmmm... maybe there's a solution to that on its way...

The sentiment is from one of the stamp sets I was given free at Convention (perk of being a demonstrator, hee hee) and I thought it really suited this simple card. The colours are all part of the 2013-2015 In Colour collection - Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana. I love how these sound so mouthwateringly refreshing!

You'll find the products I've used listed below - all save those which are coming in Sale-A-Bration, which I'm not permitted to link to yet. Don't worry though, you'll see lots more of them in the next few weeks!

If you'd like a copy of this year's Sale-A-Bration brochure, and / or the Spring Summer catalogue which is also coming in the next few days, then just drop me your details on an email and I'll pop one in the post to you ready for launch day.

Almost Time To Say Goodbye...

We're getting close to the changeover of our seasonal catalogues - can you believe it? Now I always have mixed feelings about this, 'cause it means that new crafting loveliness is on its way, which makes me really happy. On the other hand, though, it means that we have to say goodbye to some other lovely things, which makes me a little sad...

There's no reason for you to miss out, though! You can still get hold of things from this year's Autumn Winter catalogue until 31st January, so there's time yet for you to stock up on the things you can't do without.

If you're not sure how to order, then let me tell you. You can call me (on 01473 622004), you can email me or you can place your order online through my brilliant Online Shop. It's really easy, and you can have your order delivered direct to your door or collect it from me - it's your choice!

A Project Video for You

Hello! I've got another gorgeous Monster Hugs project for you today, and as something a little bit different, I've recorded a video tutorial showing you exactly how to make it, which you can find underneath the photos in this post. The project is a really fabulous birthday card, and I've designed two versions - one using the Girl Monster, and one using the Boy Monster. I think they're really cute, and I hope you love them just as much!

Here she is, my cupcake-carrying Monster - I think she's soooooo sweet!:

And here's the Boy Monster version - I gave him bags of popcorn, rather than cupcakes to carry...

These Monster Hugs are part of Stampin' Up!'s Valentine's range, and you are running out of time to get yours, 'cause they retire on 27th January. They're available from my Online Shop, and cost just £5.50 (plus shipping) for a pack of  eighteen boys, or eighteen girls. All the products I've used in the video are listed in the table at the end of this post, and if you click on any of the pictures, you'll be taken directly to that item in my shop. Or, of course, if you'd prefer to, you can just email or call me with your order.

And, lastly, here is the video. It's my first time recording a project video, and I was really nervous, but I hope you enjoy watching it. I'd love to know what you think of it!

Thanks for dropping by, and I'll see you again in a couple of days' time. Have fun until then!
